I took a break from sketching new full sized pins to work on some simpler stuff (I have 4 wip sketches right now that need a bit more refinement before I decide to share them 😅)

But I am just as excited to share these designs with you all! The first is a mini pin set - my plan for these is to involve as many people in my life as I can to contribute guest artist designs of these - a huge thank you to my friend Midnight Springs (links to her backerkit page!) for suggesting this as I stress-podcasted to her that I had given myself too much work lol. This way, I can focus on 3-4 core full size pins and their companion mini pins, and then have smaller, more bite sized stretch goals with these guys attached to them :)


These pins will measure roughly .75” on their longest side, and come in a paired set!

Next up - carabiners! These guys will be roughly 3” on their longest side; the planet features hard enamel color on a dark nickel background (although I am considering chrome plating…the only issue is that plating isn’t very durable, so I may explore other options, such as anodizing or pvd coating). The stars will just be metal, but with the smaller two sticking up more from the main star.
I am having a TON of fun designing these and have several more designs in mind (definitely a black hole, of course!)

Just a quick little update to give you guys an illustration of the planned ita bag, as well as a sketch of one of the pin ideas - based on a wolf rayet star, wr-140! These stars emit periodic clouds of elements, which give the appearance of tree rings - I am still fleshing out her design, but I am really excited about the concept I have in mind for this pin!!

I’m still working on the other sketches I have in mind, as well as looking in to a few of the suggestions from the last update - please feel free to continue commenting here or on that update with any celestial objects you might want to see~

Here are a couple of images of WR-140 - one of the brightest wolf rayet stars in the northern hemisphere! These beauties are some of the rarest stars in the entire universe, as well!

And finally - a very rough mock up of my very first ita bag - a Black Hole!



I will share irl sample pictures as soon as I have viable ones - but this bag will be 16” wide at its widest point, 10” tall, and 4” deep. I plan to have both a zipper internal pocket, as well as a phone pocket, several pen pockets, and card pockets as well.
The ita windows will be 12x5.5 and 8x3 respectively!

I have a few colorway options in mind atm, but until I have more photos of the real thing to share, I’ll hold off 😅

Hello everyone! I know things have been pretty quiet here - I really did intend to have more to say over the last month or so, but the holiday event as well as my final two conventions of the year, and prepping for Pastel Witchy rewards to FINALLY begin shipping soon has taken up a lot of time. 

I did want to get the ball rolling here, however - while I have been doing some research myself, and have a list of pins to choose from, I'd love for YOU all to shout out some of your own suggestions. I'm hoping to post some sketches of the initial potential designs I've come up with so far in the next week or so - until then, what obscure celestial bodies, either specific planets, objects, phenomenon, etc. or general types of celestial bodies would you enjoy seeing in this project?

Comment below, and I will throw a poll up for everyone to vote on the suggestions that I feel I'll be able to illustrate the best!

I am working on an ita bag sample at the moment as well - provided things progress quickly, I will be including that bag in this project. I am hopeful I'll have a workable sample if not in my hands, at least on its way to me by launch (with photos from the manu sent to me before then!); I will be revealing that design next week along with the general pin and other merch design sketches. The bag itself will be a BLACK HOLE, which was a challenge to translate in a workable manner, but I am very pleased with my final design regardless!

I will be working on enamel carabiners as well with space-themed designs. I am extra excited about these, and hope that you all will be, too! They'll feature hard enamel, several metal colors, and multiple colorways of each design will be available for unlock in the campaign. I have a few other fun ideas brewing, and can't wait to share them with you all as I flesh them out a bit more.

This will be the one of two updates I send out to my entire audience for this campaign - the second will contain as many designs as I can possibly share, about 5-7 days prior to launch - all others will be sent to project followers only, but I want to thank each and every one of you for all the support you have shown me over the last ~2 years of my crowdfunding. I fully intend to have ALL remaining open orders sent out prior to this campaign launching - but I truly appreciate everyone's patience and understanding as I slowly but surely make my way through the fulfillment process. I am admittedly a little terrified to be doing such a MASSIVE project that ita bags are, but I'm hopeful that with everyone's help, this campaign will be a great success!!
